"INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PLANT HEALTH PHOTO CONTEST"
In December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2020 as the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH). The year is a once in a lifetime opportunity to raise global awareness on how protecting plant health can help end hunger, reduce poverty, protect the environment, and boost economic development.
The “Healthy Plants and Unhealthy Plants” photo contest is an important part of this awareness-raising effort.
Thus, to commemorate this event, the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Beau Bassin Rose Hill is launching a Photography Contest on the theme: The “Healthy Plants and Unhealthy Plants”.
Submitted photos will be used by the RGSC to mount an Exhibition which will be opened to the public on 30 November 2020.
