\n\u2022 A Maximum of ONE entry per participant.
\n\u2022 AI-generated images are not allowed.
\n\u2022 Participants may be called upon to produce a Mauritian ID Card.
\n\u2022 Must have a model release form in case portraits of persons are photographed
\n\u2022 The photo must be submitted in digital format: jpg or png, in colour or black and white.
\n\u2022 The submitted photo must be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi). However, the file size of the photos should not exceed 15 MB.
\n\u2022 The photo must be in one of the following formats: 16:9, 4:3 (portrait or landscape), or square (1:1).
\n\u2022 Any other format (e.g., a panoramic option via a smartphone) will not be considered.
\n\u2022 The filename of the photo should be in the format “lastname-firstname.jpg” or “lastname-firstname.png.”
\n\u2022 To be eligible, the photo must have been taken in Mauritius and in 2024.
\n\u2022 Brief captions or descriptions (1-2 sentences explaining the photo’s connection to the theme) are encouraged.
\n\u2022 The photo can be digitally enhanced for exposure adjustments (contrast, brightness, colour balance, etc.). <\/span>However, the content cannot be digitally manipulated.
\n\u2022 The jury members reserve the right to exclude any excessively modified photo.
\n\u2022 The photo submitted must be original and must not have been used in publications or awarded in other contests.<\/span><\/p>\nRight Transfer Guidelines<\/h4>\n
\n\u2022 The photos cannot be used for commercial purposes.
\n\u2022 The used photos must necessarily mention the first name and last name of the author.
\n\u2022 Participants waive any financial or material benefits related to using their photos by the contest organisers. Under no circumstances will copyright royalties be paid to the candidates.
\n\u2022 The organisers reserve the right to crop the images as needed.
\n\u2022 Winners agree that their identity may be disclosed without demanding compensation or objecting unless they forfeit the prize.

\n\u2022 Any breach of these regulations will result in the disqualification of the candidate.
\n\u2022 The contest organisers cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of the application, alteration of the file, or the inability to read or process the file.
\n\u2022 The contest organisers reserve the right at any time to interrupt, delete, defer, postpone, or modify the contest and\/or its terms after informing through appropriate means if circumstances require, and their liability cannot be incurred thereby.
