National Science Week

(NSW) 2025

Theme:  “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

(STEM): Building a Better Society”

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are critical for building a strong and innovative society. STEM fields play a crucial role in solving real-world problems and improving people’s lives. However, there is a growing concern about the lack of interest and engagement in STEM among young people in Mauritius. National Science Week is an annual event approved by the Government that provides an opportunity to promote STEM education and careers and highlight the practical applications of STEM in daily life

The Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre (RGSC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research is organising the National Science Week 2025 (NSW 2025) from 25 to 28 March 2025 at the Cote D’Or National Sports Complex focusing on the above theme.
